Rooms with lake views

The Margate Resort offers 17 room types across three buildings. The Lake Building features rooms with views of Lake Winnipesaukee, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and free WiFi. The West Building provides motel-style rooms with partial lake views and direct beach access. The Inn Building includes larger rooms near the outdoor pool. All rooms have pod-style coffee makers, irons, and hairdryers.

Dining by the water

The Gazebo Beach Bar serves lunch and dinner with lake views, specialty cocktails, and craft beers on tap. A hot breakfast buffet is available in summer at Blackstone's Restaurant. Complimentary coffee and fruit are offered in the Courtyard Bistro each morning.

Beach and recreation

Guests can swim at the 400-foot private sandy beach, use kayaks or paddleboards, or relax by the fire pit at sunset. The resort has indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center with Technogym equipment, and an arcade game room. Lakeside campfires and movies on the beach are available seasonally.

Near Weirs Beach

The resort is on Paugus Bay, 3 miles from Weirs Beach and 90 km from Pease International Tradeport. Nearby attractions include Ahern State Park (3 km), Prescott Farm (3.5 km), and Tanger Outlets in Tilton. Boat rentals and golf courses are within easy reach.
